How do I adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD) for optimal viewing?
The Play For Dream MR headset features automatic interpupillary distance adjustment with a wide compatibility range of 51-78mm. To adjust the IPD:
- Put on your headset and make sure it's properly positioned
- Press and hold the Digital Dial on top of your MR Headset
- Adjust until your view is clear
The headset will automatically calibrate to your eyes for optimal visual clarity.
How do I connect my Play For Dream MR to my PC for gaming?
Play For Dream MR supports PC wireless streaming for an enhanced gaming experience. To connect:
- Download and install the Play For Dream PC Assistant software from our official website
- Ensure both your PC and headset are on the same Wi-Fi network (Wi-Fi 6 or above recommended)
- Launch the PC Assistant software and follow the on-screen pairing instructions
- Once connected, you can stream SteamVR games and other PC content directly to your headset
For optimal performance, we recommend using a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection or Wi-Fi 7 network.
How long does the battery last and what's the best way to extend battery life?
The Play For Dream MR features both an internal battery and an optional external battery for extended use. To maximize battery life:
- Lower the brightness when using in darker environments
- Close unused applications running in the background
- Enable power saving mode for less demanding tasks
- Consider using the external battery for longer sessions
- When not in use, put the headset in sleep mode instead of leaving it on
The controllers use rechargeable lithium polymer batteries and should be charged when not in use to ensure they're ready for your next session.
